FOREVER SUMMER 

Designed to resemble a permanent escape to the seaside, Forever Summer Apartment evokes the feeling of a summer vacation all year round.

The interior is bright, balanced and inspired by coastal living. We curated natural materials and a calming colour palette centred around the client’s favourite shade of blue. Despite the apartment’s unusual triangular layout, we transformed every challenge into an opportunity, optimising the space with integrated storage solutions and smart spatial planning.

We set out to carry out the renovation with minimal construction work, preserving existing finishes and installations while achieving maximum impact. Our key interventions included the replacement of the old interior doors with filomuro ones, designing custom cabinetry to integrate functional needs seamlessly with the aesthetic concept and adding layered ambient lighting to create different moods throughout the day.

The kitchen was refreshed by keeping the original frames but replacing the fronts and countertop, while the mirrored backsplash enhances light and depth. The bedroom was redesigned with proportionally scaled furniture: a tall built-in storage and a low-profile sand-colored bed, creating a sense of height and openness. A versatile vanity area doubles as a small workspace when needed.

Every detail, from decorative profiles and wall paint to statement lighting in natural materials, was curated to reinforce the overarching concept of “eternal summer”, creating a harmonious, relaxing and functional home that feels like a permanent seaside retreat.

This project reflects how thoughtful design decisions and strategic interventions can completely transform a space while keeping construction minimal and budget under control.
