PRAVALESCU BISTRO

This interior design project brings a distinct blend of rustic charm and modern flair to a restaurant that celebrates local, artisanal ingredients. Our concept was to bring back to life the dynamic of the traditional old pub where neighbours would gather, encouraging new guests to engage in a social experience. 

As visitors step inside, they are drawn in by a classic black-and-white checkboard floor that establishes a timeless foundation. The deep blue walls create a soothing and intimate atmosphere, while vibrant red accents in the furniture and decorative details add an energizing pop of colour.

We integrated richly textured wood for the bar area as the focal point to connect the interior to the restaurant’s dedication to handcrafted, high-quality food. We envisioned decor pieces such as repurposed barrels and light fixtures made from old wine bottles that introduce unique character and authenticity, enhancing our concept.

The restaurant is linked to the grocery shop we designed, offering ingredients either locally grown or crafted in-house. This shop allows guests to take home a piece of the restaurant’s ethos, connecting them directly to the commitment to fresh, local sourcing.

This entire project is a seamless fusion of retail and dining, allowing customers to enjoy farm-to-table dishes while discovering new and exciting ways to use the products at home.

Through thoughtful design, the restaurant becomes more than a dining space—it’s an immersive experience that celebrates the story and spirit behind each dish in a lively setup.
